For the past few years, I have become obsessed with making photographs. It's just as simple as that. Oh, and I prefer taking pictures when people are in them.

I am really trying to capture a unique perspective of my subjects, be it a first-time model or a seasoned veteran, a tabletop product or a live concert.

When I am behind the camera, folks have said that my demeanor and professionalism is easy to work with and comfortable, allowing the subjects to fully explore the distinct qualities and individuality they have to offer the camera.

I have also lectured on photography and taught several classes on portraiture throughout the greater Seattle area.

A self-taught photographer, I have been awarded Grand Prize winner of the Curve magazine contest, Hall of Fame on Photoblogs.org, Second Place for the Urban Pollution Yeah Yeah Yeahs rock photography contest, an honorable mention for Gap holiday contest, and a featured user on Yahoo!, FlickrBlog and Buzznet. My work has also appeared on Wired, ABC News and King5 Seattle News as well as many print publications and a few cd covers.
