i wish i didn’t sound like a little gushy schoolgirl when i mention how happy/lucky/excited i was to be invited to photograph heather and mike’s special day. heather, who is from washington and mike, from florida, met in new york and chose to have their wedding as a weekend getaway in the catskills, a couple hours outside of manhattan.
with a destination wedding, they kept it small, only parents and immediate friends. so intimate, even the cake and dress were made by guests (omg pockets in her wedding dress!!!). this made for a perfect day, and i cannot thank them enough for allowing me and my camera into that small circle.

heather and mike got married last weekend at a camp in the catskill mountains of new york. i was fortunate enough to be asked to photograph the wonderful event.
